The Speaker of the Australian Capital Territory Legislative Assembly, Hon. Mark Parton, MLA welcomed a parliamentary visit in Canberra, Australia from 23 to 24 June 2025 from Members of the Business Committee of the Kiribati Parliament (Maneaba ni Maungatabu).

The fact-finding visit included meetings and briefings with Presiding Officer, Members of Parliament and parliamentary officials including the Clerk, Tom Duncan.
